The “New Heights” podcast has finally unveiled its special guest for 2025. On New Year’s Day, Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce announced that WNBA rookie Caitlin Clark will be joining them to kick off the first episode of the new year.

“Heard you guys might be interested in this hint about our special guest,” the brothers teased on X regarding their guest for the upcoming episode.

Given that Travis is currently in a relationship with Taylor Swift, numerous fans speculated that she would be the featured guest. Although Swift has been mentioned on the podcast multiple times, she has not yet appeared as a guest—at least not thus far.

What topics will Caitlin Clark discuss on New Heights podcast?

Clark has experienced an incredible year as she stepped into the WNBA, being selected as the No. 1 draft pick by the Indiana Fever. She also earned a place on the All-WNBA First Team, was named a 2024 All-Star, and received the title of 2024 Rookie of the Year.

In a first-look clip shared by Women’s Health, Clark spoke with the Kelce brothers about how her parents, Brent and Anne Clark, prioritized ensuring her childhood remained normal as schools began expressing interest in her during middle school.

“I feel very fortunate,” Caitlin told Travis and Jason regarding the recruitment letters. “They wanted me to be in seventh grade and enjoy middle school and hang out with [my] friends. Like, you shouldn’t be worrying about where you’re going to college.”

She shared with Jason and Travis that she didn’t finalize her decision to attend the University of Iowa until her senior year.

“I was never in a rush,” she said. “My parents did a really good job of making sure I have a good circle around me. It wasn’t always about college recruitment.”

As the Iowa native is expected to discuss her journey into basketball and how her life has evolved since joining the WNBA, she and Travis also share a common interest beyond their professional sports careers: Taylor Swift.

Caitlin revealed that she is a fan of Swift and attended the Grammy winner’s Eras Tour three times. She even traded friendship bracelets with fellow fans while waiting for Swift to perform.

“People are just going crazy that I’m there,” Clark noted. “I thought people would be so in their own world, ready to see Taylor. And it was just completely the opposite.”

The episode of the “New Heights Podcast with Jason and Travis Kelce” featuring Clark is set to be available for streaming on Thursday, January 2.
