Tensions soared at the Chase Center when a troubling sound reverberated through the crowd in San Francisco.

The Golden State Warriors are now dealing with worries about Stephen Curry’s health following an injury he incurred in the game against the Raptors. Curry departed from the game during the third quarter due to a suspected pelvic contusion, having landed awkwardly on his tailbone.

The moment raised alarm as footage captured a potentially alarming bone-cracking sound. Nevertheless, the final assessment of this serious injury awaits further scans to clarify the extent of the damage to Curry’s lower body.

Although he left the court under his own power, Curry exhibited signs of discomfort, massaging his tailbone and lower back as he made his way to the locker room.

Prior to the mishap, Curry had been performing well, registering 17 points by shooting 6-of-8 from the field and netting 2-of-4 from three-point range. This incident arrives at a pivotal moment for the Warriors, who have been excelling lately, having won 15 out of 18 games since the trade deadline, buoyed by the acquisition of veteran star Jimmy Butler.
