LeBron James Discusses His Health
While the Lakers appear to be a strong team, LeBron’s absence would certainly be detrimental given the current conference standings.
Following a recent victory against the New Orleans Pelicans, James shared a positive outlook on his health and fitness levels. He expressed that he felt the strongest he had in several weeks.
“That was the best I felt before the injury for sure. I just tried to press, get downhill, my rhythm, as far as my jump shot felt pretty good today, I was shooting from the free throw line extremely well, and I’m a bit late, but it’s probably the best physically I felt. So hopefully, I can build off of that,” LeBron stated, according to Laker Nation.

Nonetheless, the Akron native is presently recovering from a groin injury that caused him to miss seven games earlier in the season, which he sustained during a match with the Celtics in March.
While the Lakers faced challenges during his absence, his return has seen fluctuations in his performance. In one recent game against the Indiana Pacers, he managed only 13 points, while he bounced back impressively against the Pelicans with 27 points, eight assists, and two steals.
The Lakers currently sit with the fourth-best record in the Western Conference and are up against formidable opponents as the playoffs approach, starting with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
