Recently, well-known streamer Kai Cenat revealed his intention to leave streaming behind in order to pursue his dream of becoming a professional basketball player. Rather than targeting the NBA or another major basketball organization, Cenat opted for a distinctive route by unveiling the newly established Little Basketball Association (LBA) in September.
This league incorporated a draft system akin to those found in major sports leagues, and Cenat was an active player. However, after a period with the LBA, Cenat has chosen to retire from basketball.
Kai shared the news with his followers on social media. In a Twitter post featuring a photo of him holding the LBA Champions Trophy, he indicated a return to the platform that propelled him to fame.
“Back to streaming,” he posted on his X account.
Kai Cenat embarked on his streaming journey on Twitch in February 2021, quickly amassing a significant fanbase. One of his standout moments occurred during a stream featuring celebrities Kevin Hart and Druski, where he shattered Twitch’s North American viewership record.
