James Harden is recognized as one of the most adaptable and formidable scorers in the NBA. During the previous offseason, he became a member of the Los Angeles Clippers, yet it was during his tenure with the Houston Rockets that Harden’s career soared to remarkable new levels.

One of his most devoted fans is Chicago Bulls star DeMar DeRozan, who has recently signed with the Sacramento Kings. In a recent episode of the Club 520 podcast, DeRozan conveyed his admiration for Harden’s remarkable displays while with the Rockets.

The stretch James had was… That wasn’t even like a video game; that was some Space Jam stuff. If you didn’t catch the game, you just knew when you glanced at the box score it was going to be something absolutely wild,” DeRozan remarked.

Harden’s exceptional season with the Rockets took place in 2018-19. During that year, he averaged 36.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 7.5 assists per game across 78 contests.

That stretch James had, man, was the most astonishing stuff I have ever witnessed. It was unbelievable,” DeRozan further added.

James Harden Dismisses Lower NBA 2K25 Rating

Following his initial season with the Los Angeles Clippers, James Harden has received an 84 rating in the NBA 2K25 video game. This signifies a decline from his prior rating of 89 in last year’s version. Regardless of the diminished rating, Harden shows no signs of distress.

Nah, I don’t… I’m going to demonstrate it on the court. I don’t really give much thought to my rating,” Harden mentioned to Jason Bristol of KHOU 11 News Houston.

Last season, Harden averaged 16.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 8.5 assists with the Clippers. While the rating may not align with his expectations, Harden prioritizes showing his worth on the court rather than on virtual evaluations.
