On Friday, the San Antonio Spurs faced off against the Portland Trail Blazers in what became a noteworthy game. Veteran Spurs guard Chris Paul was ejected in the closing moments of the first quarter following two rapid technical fouls during a tense exchange.
The sequence began with a little over a minute remaining in the first quarter, when Paul received his first technical foul for arguing a call. Shortly thereafter, following a turnover on an inbound pass, Paul continued to express his dissatisfaction with the officials, resulting in a second technical foul.
“You acting like the police,” he remarked just before his ejection.

Chris Paul Discusses Future Plans After NBA
In a recent discussion with Tony Parker, Chris Paul shared insights regarding his aspirations following his retirement from professional basketball. The Spurs veteran emphasized that coaching at the NBA level isn’t part of his immediate plans.
“I always said I wasn’t going to coach. But I don’t know; I’m open to a whole bunch of things now,” Paul stated. “Definitely want to be present for the kids, but I definitely want to be in ownership. I help coach my AAU team right now, and that is so fun to me.”
The 12-time NBA All-Star, who recently expressed emotion over achieving a significant milestone, is currently in his first season with the Spurs. This season, Paul is averaging 10.2 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 8.5 assists.
